On good days, my study transforms into my hobby room. Then I’m not sitting at my desk doing everyday tasks. Instead, I immerse myself in projects I’ve chosen for myself. The room becomes a cabinet of curiosities, filled with all the tools I’ve acquired over the years so I can dedicate myself to these projects exactly as I see fit. My tools are books and equipment, primarily for producing and reproducing still and moving images—especially tripods, lights, cables, and countless mounts. When my desk transforms into my workbench, I’ve truly made the room my own.
