When I finished school, I started going to this place. At first, I didn’t know anyone, but before I knew it, I had become part of an incredibly open community that kept growing. Everyone played with everyone and simply spent time together on and around the court.

At some point, I was spending so much time there (my goal was at least 100 days a year) that I earned the nickname “caretaker” and even started calling the Nike Court my living room. It was a place where I could completely switch off, push myself physically, enjoy the weather, and constantly meet new and interesting people.
